I have 2 beagles, both females. Ever since I brought them home, they have always destroyed anything and everything with cotton in it. They don't mess with foam or any other type of fillers...just cotton. Ginger, my smaller beagle, even ripped open a sealed package of cotton I had in my sewing stuff. Is there a reason for this or are my dogs just haters of cotton? |

My Beagle LOVES..DRYER SHEETS.... will totally destroy them. Grabs one from the laundry basket and shreds it. Been that way since he was a puppy. It was cute then..and those stuffed toys with the cotton inside?? He has a great time with those as well...Not sure if its "normal" but ..all in all its harmless I guess.

Sundae tends to have this behavior too, but not just with cotton: EVERYTHING. He bites pet beds till they have about 3 holes in them. He can bit even the toughest things, including our decorations, which are a favorite chew toy for him. This behavior is harmless and biting stuff is a paradise for all puppies and dogs alike.
