  Morgan and Me :)   Morgan is a 12 year old purebred beagle. His favourite food is anything edible, and he loves walks and new things. Every morning at 5 am we go for a walk. You can hear him as you approach the laundry (his bedroom, with his basket, which he loves) banging his tail against the washing machine. He loves his walks, because everyone has to stop and pat him and tell him how cute he is! And then everyone wonders why I say he has a big head.... I remember the first day we met him. My sister was 2 at the time, and she was talking about 'Morgan'. I was thinking of her favourite show, Bananas in Pyjamas, where one of the bears is named Morgan. We went to our grandparents house (we were moving house at that stage) and we opened the patio door. Moving faster than the speed of light (followed rather grumpily by my grandparents boxer Cassie, RIP) was this cute little 2 year old beagle! Of course his life hasn't always been perfect. He was hit by a car when he was 3 or 4. He wasn't hurt badly, just a little cut, but I was terrified. He'd gotten out of the yard, and I was trying to catch him when he ran out and got hit. :(. He has had some high points however. Where I work, we have someone who decides dog of the month, and Morgan is Dog of the Month for January. And who wouldn't choose him? Being 12, you'd think he'd start slowing down a bit. NOT A CHANCE. This Beagle still has quite a few years left in him yet! |
