my beagle's name is DaisyMae and she is 8 months old.She is my little girl i think of her as my own child.My husband and i can't have any children so we bought DaisyMae instead.My husband has always raised beagles but i haven't.I have raised Rottweillers.What a difference hugh!!! Okay that post was a while ago....Couple things about beagles we all have learned. Never let them off a leash. If they are skittish, I use a cloth choke collar that stops so it doesn't choke them but that they can;t back out of. ALSO keep all food out of reach. Especially Dark Chocolate. Pogo our family beagle of 11 years got a box of Godiva once....whew was he sick....almost didn;t make it....Now he is gone but never forgotten..
